...I don't even know where to start for this one. It's a horribly over-due present to Gablade, I meant to give him around Christmas time (obvious by the Mistletoe). Yeah...I got very distracted during break and while I had this drawn up before the holidays, I just kept forgetting to take the time to color and post it. Yes, I pushed myself to even do this in color despite my clear inexperience with color pencil because I wanted to make something special for Gablade.

So, where does that leave us know? Well past the holiday season, so instead I give this to Gablade as a birthday present! Happy Birthday! :D Just wanted to let you know, you are one of the true friends I feel I have here on Deviantart, and I'm glad to have met someone who writes as lengthy comments as I do. You're an awesome writer and general cool dude from what I can tell. I know you've had a good deal of stress lately and hopefully this gift will be a bit uplifting!

Beyond that, I could go into critiques and stuff on this picture. This scene was requested by Gablade: one of his character, Ike, with my character, Rika, underneath the mistletoe. Not sure if Ike would really be that bold, but it's a cute scene and I really like the general composition. Even got to sneak in Kinrui! By the way, the Flygon is actually a NPC of mine I have not yet introduced. His name is Toothless and essentially he's Kinrui's pet (and self-proclaimed bodyguard and transport). I hope I'll be able to introduce him to Team Dazzler at some point as his and Kinrui's interactions are really cute. I wonder if it was a good idea to color this as I don't know if it looks better or worse than just black and white. Probably should have attempted line-art. Oh well, nothing to do about it now. I could criticize this picture all lot as I don't think this is exactly my best work, but I won't go into that. All that matters is if Gablade loves it (and I sincerely hope he does).

Aww! They are so adorable! :D

Man, I love this. I love this to death and into the afterlife. Don't be too hard on yourself for anything in regards to this. the lines look really nice, the colors are well put together, and the scene as a whole is just fun to look at and... gosh... I just can't get over how awesome it is! 

To answer a question or two, I think Ike might be that bold, but it would vary on how much he's had to drink or whatnot. In a collab I did with flygirlll26262, he did randomly kiss Talia to tell her to lighten up, but with a possible love interest like Rika, he would probably need a drink to become that bold, as he is shy around those he doesn't know. Sneaking in Kinrui and Toothless was a really nice touch, btw, and this only reminded me that we need to continue on our collab sometime soon (and I need to update the PMD-G page too, but that's another story...). I consider you one of the best friends I have online too, and I love the fact that I can know someone like you who has the same fondness over long comments, as well as such a wonderful generous and kind spirit to do something like this for me. I won't forget our friendship anytime soon, and you're just an awesome person as a whole. Thank you so much!

The only question I will ever have now is how Rika will respond~
